Manufacturing Pet Food - THE PRODUCT QUALITY Beyond Ingredients

Family pet food quality runs beyond the substances being accurate. Quality means that the required ingredients are clean fresh, and unadulterated. They are the same concerns we must have in regards to the foods we supply our pets. All the right materials being contained in the required quantities are worthless when there is toxicity.

Exactly like humans, our house animals should eat their fruit and vegetables. Do you not clean fruit and vegetables, prior with their being included in your dog's diet, as you would on your own? Even if you are an organic gardener how a lot of the dirt and grime that you planted fruit and vegetables in is in fact free from type of toxin. Are the fish substances in your pet's food free from toxins? Possibly the pet food supplier gets its seafood from a polluted drinking water source.

Imagine if the fowl that is your puppies food came from a poultry farm that did not care for the fitness of their fowl. Perhaps these fowl were egg levels, who by the end of their effectiveness were sold to a pet food producer. Would the manufacturer that purchased those items care about the quality of those chickens?

If pet food manufacturers truly value the grade of the ingredients used, then how do you explain the fact that current information includes information of specific things like frogs within dog food? How do you clarify the melamine and salmonella recalls that people as pet owners, have become so alert to over the past several years? To create matters worse, what happens when you contact a manufacture of pet food to complain of the quality of food?

They give you answers such as we will send you some free food, or some coupons to make use of when purchasing their food next time. How insulting to our intelligence did it get? Why would anyone want to continue using a food that has already established issues like a recall, or someone locating a frog in the dog food can? It is beyond my understanding!

Several key questions to ask of any pet food manufacturer:

1. What are the ingredients?

2. What's the guaranteed analysis of the merchandise?

3. Do you really validate the quality of your ingredients, and when so how?

Owners should question where in fact the ingredients come from! Are elements being produced or raised for ingestion by humans or domestic pets? Were the ingredients raised or produced for other purposes, and then sold off for use in pet products? Pet owners should also ask how old the food is. Has it been sitting in a warehouse for more than several months?

These are some examples of key quality questions that pet owners should ask manufacturers of their pet's food. Appropriate ingredients being in the food, in the right quantities do not equate to quality. Quality factors ate independent and distinct from ingredients. Do not forget to choose natural pet products that are environmentally safe, all natural, healthy, natural, and made out of the very best quality ingredients available.
